An adjective phrase is a group of words that describes a noun or pronoun, just like a single adjective does. The main word in the phrase is an adjective, and it can have extra words with it to add more detail.

How to find out in sentences the Adjective Phrase:

🔹️It tells us more about a noun: What kind? Which one? What type?

🔹️It usually comes before or after the noun it describes.

Examples:

The cake [made of chocolate] was delicious.

"made of chocolate" is the adjective phrase.

It describes cake (what kind of cake?).

He wore a shirt [full of bright colors].

"full of bright colors" describes shirt.

She is [very good at drawing].
