1. Future Simple/Indefinite 

Formation: Subject + will/shall + base verb

Example: I will go to school tomorrow.

Uses: Predictions, spontaneous decisions, promises,

 facts about the future

Time expressions: tomorrow, next week, soon, later, 

in 2030

Negative: Subject + will not/won't + base verb

Interrogative: Will/Shall + subject + base verb

Example negative: I will not go to school tomorrow

Example interrogative: Will you go to school tomorrow

2. Future Continuous

Formation: Subject + will be + verb + ing

Example: I will be studying at 8 PM tomorrow

Uses: Action in progress at a specific future time, 

polite inquiries about plans

Time expressions: at this time tomorrow, at 9 PM

 tonight, all day tomorrow

Negative: Subject + will not be + verb + ing

Interrogative: Will + subject + be + verb + ing

Example negative: I will not be studying at 8 PM

Example interrogative: Will you be studying at 8 PM

3. Future Perfect

Formation: Subject + will have + past participle

Example: She will have finished the project by Friday

Uses: Action completed before a specific time in the 

future

Time expressions: by tomorrow, by next week, 

before, by 2027

Negative: Subject + will not have + past participle

Interrogative: Will + subject + have + past participle

Example negative: She will not have finished the 

project by Friday

Example interrogative: Will she have finished the 

project by Friday

4. Future Perfect Continuous

Formation: Subject + will have been + verb + ing

Example: I will have been studying for 3 hours by 

9 PM

Uses: Action ongoing for a period up to a point in

 the future, focus on duration

Time expressions: for, since, by the time, by next 

month

Negative: Subject + will not have been + verb + ing

Interrogative: Will + subject + have been + verb + ing

Example negative: I will not have been studying for

 3 hours by 9 PM

Example interrogative: Will you have been studying

 for 3 hours by 9 PM

Practice sentences:

1. She will have finished her work by 6 PM. (future perfect)

2. At this time tomorrow, I will be traveling to Lahore. (future continuous)

3. They will have been living here for 10 years by next. (future perfect continuous)

 month

4. I will call you later tonight. (future simple)
