Narrator's point of view


 Narrator's point of view:

1. First-Person


   Definition: The narrator is a character in the story, usually the protagonist.

   Pronouns: I, me, my, we, us

   Example: I walked through the forest, unsure of what I might find.


2. Second-Person


   Definition: The narrator addresses the reader directly, making them the protagonist.

   Pronouns: You, your

   Example: You step into the room and feel a chill run down your spine.


3. Third-Person Objective


   Definition: The narrator is outside the story and reports only what can be observed—no thoughts or feelings are revealed.

   Pronouns: He, she, they, it

   Example: She knocked on the door and waited. The man inside glanced at his watch.


4. Third-Person Limited


   Definition: The narrator is outside the story but knows the thoughts and feelings of one character.

   Pronouns: He, she, they

   Example: He wondered if she would call him back, but didn’t say a word.


5. Third-Person Omniscient(all knowing)


   Definition: The narrator is all-knowing and can describe the thoughts and feelings of multiple characters.

   Pronouns: He, she, they

   Example:

She hoped he'd forgive her, while he stood silently, debating whether to speak or walk away.
