 1. Send for  

Meaning (English): To request someone to come, usually by sending a message.  

Meaning (Urdu): کسی کو بلوانا (کسی پیغام یا شخص کے ذریعے بلانا)

Sentences:

1. I will send for the doctor immediately.  

   میں فوراً ڈاکٹر کو بلوا لوں گا۔  

2. She sent for her assistant to help her with the work.  

   اس نے کام میں مدد کے لیے اپنے اسسٹنٹ کو بلایا۔  

3. They sent for the police after hearing the noise.  

   شور سن کر انہوں نے پولیس کو بلا لیا۔  

2. Call for 

Meaning (English): To demand or require something; or to go and get someone.  

Meaning (Urdu): مطالبہ کرنا یا کسی کو بلانے جانا

Sentences:

1. This situation calls for immediate action.  

   یہ صورتحال فوری کارروائی کا تقاضا کرتی ہے۔  

2. He called for a meeting to discuss the problem.  

   اس نے مسئلے پر بات کرنے کے لیے میٹنگ بلائی۔  

3. I’ll call for you at 7 p.m.  

   میں تمہیں شام سات بجے لینے آؤں گا۔  

3. Avuncular

Meaning (English): Friendly, kind, or helpful like an uncle.  

Meaning (Urdu):  مہربان یا ہمدرد

Sentences:

1. He gave me avuncular advice on my career.  

   اس نے مجھے میرے کیریئر پر ہمدردانہ جیسی نصیحت دی۔  

2. The teacher had an avuncular attitude toward his students.  

   استاد کا اپنے شاگردوں کے ساتھ ہمدردانہ جیسا رویہ تھا۔  

3. She appreciated his avuncular concern during hard times.  

   مشکل وقت میں اس کی  ہمدردانہ جیسی ہمدردی کی وہ قدر کرتی تھی۔
